World Refugee Day in Western New York is an annual event dedicated to using sports, arts, and other cultural activities to foster community development and intercultural understanding. The event includes soccer and volleyball tournaments, women’s and children’s activities, cultural performances and education, and a free potluck meal providec by the community. Admission is free!
World Refugee Day 2021 Update: This year to celebrate World Refugee Day, we are excited to share that in-person cultural performances are back! Over the next few weeks, we will be reaching out to find individuals and groups interested in performing. If you or someone in your community is interested in performing, please let us know!
